Pret A Manger is one of those coffee shops that seems to pop up on every street corner, but news that it’s now offering free WiFi access suggests it won’t have any trouble keeping them busy.
Unlike many other cafes and restaurants that offer wireless access, this is completely free with no hourly charge, time restriction or obligation to buy anything.

Manchester based 3D animation agency AHD Imaging released a video Christmas Greeting this year in the form of a one-minute short featuring a down-and-out robot who can’t get a part in a CGI commercial.
It seems to have gathered quite a bit of interest from advertising agencies and the company has now put it up on YouTube so everyone can have a look and of course generate a hefty amount of publicity for itself.

Ever wondered what it would be like to sit inside a speaker? Then look no further than the Sonic Chair Touch, a reworked version of the original Sonic Chair with an iMac attached.
This very odd, yet luxuriously expensive, multimedia chair is all about the music, man. The pod seat puts you in the middle of what really is a speaker. Designed by Frank Hussong, Michael Kientzler and Daniela Reuter, the Sonic Chair is surrounded by speakers that focus the sound and some incredible bass at the listener, but also manages to not to annoy the rest of the people around you who aren’t up for a head-wrecking dose of Metallica first thing in the morning.

Ok, so you just got a TiVo from the last suggestion, but now you’ve got to watch all of that recorded material on something good. No, something great. Something big. Something in a flat-screen: LCD or Plasma!
Both LCDs and Plasmas have come way down in price over the last few years. After all, you can find deals for 42″ screens for well under 00 now.
We like the 52″ LCD Samsung pictured, but you can get your choice of LCD or Plasma. If you can afford it, then try to get a 1080p TV and heck if you have the room, get something that is at least 37″!
