MSI’s new DirectX10.1 Compatible offerings

Micro Star International has announced its new range of R3000 series graphic cards which use Radeon HD 3000 series chip. ATI R3870X2 is DirectX10.1 compatible graphics card that offers 1TeraFLOPS of computing power with its dual ATI R3870 GPUs. And if 1 TeraFLOPS is not enough for you, then there is ATIs CrossFireX multi-GPU technology to scale things up. MSIs other offering is something that normal computer user will rejoice. It uses ATIs Radeon HD 3600 GPU for HD gaming experience and offers coloring of 120 pixel unit. This 55nm processor consists of 378 million transistors and boasts of second-generation rendering framework for excellent 3D rendering.

Vincent Lai, MSI global marketing director said,The new ATI Radeon HD 3600 family core has 256 bit ring-bus memory control capabilities, with high-speed GDDR3 512MB, and other ultra-realistic graphics memory particles, and efficiency is superior to the same price competitors products. This mid-range product gives user adequate multilateral geometry, color rendering, and high-speed image pixels, and other computing support, it can be said that this product has all the cost-effective advantages.

Another card MSI R3400 is based on ATI Radeon HD 3400 family and also features 55nm processors. Using same architecture as that of R3600, R3400 can be simply put as scaled down version of R3600 with lesser stream processors, texture units and ROPs. This makes R3400 highly efficient, quite and energy saving graphic card that will be light on normal users pocket and will still offer best available features like DirectX 10.1 compatibility and CrossFireX technology.
