Sony IP Music Player has archaic touch interface
Touch interfaces can either be too advanced or strangely archaic. It depends entirely on how we perceive them, sometimes. Most would agree that Sony has been a leader of the pack in innovation. This time, we have two touch-control interfaces that sound a tad complicated in functionality, which makes us believe perhaps the technology doesn’t belong in this era. Incorporated into two different versions of the IP Music Player concept of Sony, the interfaces have been designed by Eijiro Mori and Takuo Ikeda. In the first version, the device identifies virtual files on a desktop and creates icons for them in its display. The file can be accessed directly through the device. In the second version, the player has an accompanying stylus/stick that you place on the surface of the device to create sound and animations.
